Good morning my Beauties & welcome to this new chapter in my life!
Some of you may know, for a while now, I wanted to create a platform where not only I could express myself, however so could my audience. I wanted to create a website with stories, affirmations, love, advice & positivity and I hope my redesigned website liliantahmasian.com will do just that for all of you. Ever since I began my journey in September 2009, all I wanted to do, was help inspire at least one person with my blogposts and videos and if i have done just that, my job is complete.
To welcome you to my new website, I wanted to start off on the right foot & write about a topic quite dear to my heart. Here are 5 Daily Habits of the Happiest People. I hope this helps inspire you, throughout your day. Please share this article with anyone you think may benefit from it. Also, don’t forget to look around the site & interact with the many new features as much as you can. I did create it for all of you. Enjoy.
Surrounding yourself with Positive People
Now, you may have heard this in the past and you may have brushed it off. However, have you ever realized, when you hang out with certain people you come home feeling drained, exhausted, lifeless & down? This never happens randomly, yet our energy becomes tarnished with negativity & heaviness. One of my best friends Valeria, would always tell me to “protect” my energy and I never really understood “why” or even “how”? It wasn’t until recently, I discovered what she was saying couldn’t be more true. The more I surrounded myself with great quality, like-minded, positive & driven individuals, the more I wanted to become a better human. So make sure you keep this in mind on a daily basis!
Meditating
Meditating has become an activity a lot of people have fortunately began taking on and it works wonders! Putting 5-10 minutes aside a day, can literally make you think differently, work in a much calmer state & allow you to become much more focused on what is and is not important. I strongly recommend meditating every single morning, (even if its for 5 minutes). This will allow you to start off your day on the right foot.
Dress the Part
We are all in such different chapters in our lives. Some of us may go to school or university, some of us may be working 9-5, yet others may be working from home. No matter where you are in life, make sure you are dressing for the part. Have you realized, getting up & changing from your pajamas, or tidying up your hair and starting the day off with a fresh face, can automatically change your mood? i truly believe in “dressing up” even if you have no where to go. This almost instantly allows you to feel powerful, put together & ready to tackle on any day.
I recently came across a site called Tobi & instantly fell in love with their range of clothing.(They currently have 50% off the site, using the code “SPRUNG” , you’re welcome.) From t-shirts, to maxi dresses & formal dresses, to shoes & accessories, they have the perfect style to play around with. When I’m having a crazy busy day, I hop out of the office to grab coffee, some fresh air & perhaps flowers & it calms me and centers me once again.
There are days I’m working from home, but why leave these lovely pieces sitting in the wardrobe, when we could all be wearing them? So the next time you’re feeling down, pop on a dress, grab a coffee & look at your list dead in the eye & tackle it! (Dress find HERE & cross body bag pictured HERE from Tobi)
Stay Grateful
Sometimes we are so taken aback with what we don’t have, we forget what we do! It is so important to stay mindful & grateful to everything around us. Our friends, our families, our environment & what we do. We are so blessed to be given opportunities to learn, to educate ourselves & to evolve. We cannot let any petty aspect in our life interfere with our gold bubble of joy, health, wealth & love. Stay centered, stay hungry & motivated, yet always grateful.
Importance of Health
Have you realized the second you workout, dance or simply move, you feel inspired, excited & full of energy? Releasing endorphins in the morning will allow you to concentrate to a greater extent, feel more calm & focused. Whether its a quick dance routine, high intensity cardio, or a yoga class, do it & you’ll conquer the day!
